Microsoft launched its three latest editions of Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 and Visual Studio 2008 through a series of launches that swept across the Middle East, encompassing key countries, like Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Morocco, Algeria, Pakistan, Lebanon and Jordan. Microsoft’s Launch Wave took up the motto “Heroes Happen Here”, praising the efforts of everyone who contributes to the IT revolution in the world.
Saudi’s Microsoft 2008 Launch Wave in took place in Khubar, 1st March at the Gulf Meridian Hotel, in Riyadh 3rd March at the Four Seasons Hotel, and in Jeddah 5th March at the Hilton Jeddah. Jordan’s Microsoft 2008 Launch Wave happened in Amman, Grand Hyatt hotel and Zara Expo on 11th March 2008.
Interested IT professionals and decision-makers in both countries visited Estarta’s booths and learned about Estarta’s latest solutions, such as MORASALAT (Administrative Communication System), TAGDEER (Revenue Management System), and BAWWABAT (Financial Services Intelligent Portals), and Idara (Government Resource Planning), which are all built on top of two Microsoft technologies (Windows Server and SQL Server).
Jordanian Minister of Information and Telecommunications Technology, His Excellency Eng. Basem Rousan visited Estarta Solutions booth at Zara Expo, where the Jordanian Microsoft Launch happened, and looked at the benefits and features of the solutions and IT innovations that Estarta offers.
