Amman, July 9th 2007- Estarta Solutions, a leading IT innovator in the region announced that The Minister of Information and Communications Technology, Eng. Basem Rousn has visited their headquarters in Amman today. The visit came as part of the Ministry of Information and Communicvations Technology’s effort to enhance its partnership with the private sector. Eng Rousan was briefed on Estarta’s service offering, achievements, future plans.as well as their concerns and challenges.
Estarta is a testament to His Majesty King A|bdullah II’s focus on attracting international investments to Jordan, as clearly demonstrated by Microsoft Corporation and Cisco Systems investments in the company.
Today, Estarta employs more than 220 talented engineers and has offices in Amman, Aqaba, Dubai, Dammam, Kuwait, Jeddah, Doha, and Riyadh.
During the visit, H.E. was greeted by Mr. Majdi Albeit Shawish, Estarta’s CEO and Members of the Board who gave H.E. a brief on Estarta’s history, achievements and operations. H.E. also met with Estarta team members who provided H.E. with updates on the running projects in the region.
This visit is part of an effort H.E. is putting to promote the IT sector in Jordan and to strengthen the ties between the ministry and key IT companies in Jordan.
