Estarta Solutions Accelerating the Graduate Internship Program (GIP) in Partnership with MoICT and MoL

 Estarta Solutions, a leading regional IT innovator, today signed the Graduate Internship Program (GIP) Agreement with the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MoICT) in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor (MoL).

GIP is a 12 month program during which Estarta will employ 50 IT graduates from Jordanian universities to train them in the latest technical skills and provide them with on-the-job experience. This program at Estarta will equip graduates to excel as professionals and participate in serving Jordanian digital economy initiatives.

H.E. Minister of ICT, Eng. Basem Al-Rousan, commented that: “This agreement aims to bridge the academic world with the specific needs of the job market for IT graduates”.

H.E. Al-Rousan added: “By virtue of this program, graduates will have the opportunity to work for a year with a leading Jordanian IT company, Estarta Solutions, while receiving competitive wages subsidized partly by the government. It will provide a solid foundation for professional development of the graduates’ competencies.”

“This agreement is part of a national program launched recently by the Ministry, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Int@j, to pursue our strategic objectives of developing human capital in Jordan and equipping graduates for the challenges of the job market,” H.E. added.

Estarta’s Chairman, Mr. Leith M. Masri, expressed the company’s pride at being a contributor to this program in its second phase, commenting that: “Estarta’s goals have always been to play a leading role in developing Jordan’s IT sector and to support talented graduates from local universities. The Company welcomes the opportunity to partner in the government’s initiatives and in advancing the national goals of human resource development in this important sector”.
